Gearing up for Back to School 2010
School Supply Kit

Can you believe that there is only a little more than 3 weeks left before school begins?  Here at HAAM that means gearing up for Back to School.

We have two main goals for the 2010 Back to School Project. 

One is to provide 2,400 local students with basic school supplies.

Two is to provide 580 school supply pre-packs (as shown right) to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade local students in need. We know we can meet these goals with your help and your donations.

Your donation of:

$200 will buy TEN (10) school supply packs

$100 will buy FIVE (5) school supply packs

$60 will buy THREE (3) school supply packs

$20 will buy ONE (1) school supply

Your school supply donations will be used to fill the bags for students not receiving the pre-packs. 

The following is a WISH LIST of needed school supplies:

Red Pens, Erasers, Markers, Map Pencils, Highlighters, Rulers, Bottled Glue, Glue Sticks, Wide Ruled Filler Paper, Pocket Folders

with brads, Spiral Notebooks, Dividers and 2 inch binders.

Donating to Back to School is easy!

You can either drop off  supplies at the HAAM Client Service Building, Monday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or you can make a monetary donation by downloading the Back to School Flyer to complete and mail in the contribution form or you can use our secure website

BACK TO SCHOOL COMMUNITY EVENTS

WALMART @ Wilson Rd. and Beltway 8

SATURDAY, AUGUST 7 - Join Walmart for some Cajun Cooking, with guest apprearances from Dynamo Diesal and Beckwith's Car Care from 10:00 a.m. - NOON.

School Supplies can be purchased from Walmart and donated in their drop boxes! Come out and support HAAM and have some family fun too!
